With a varied palette of instruments to choose from, Alex specialises in the use of organic sounds to create emotive, textural pieces, employing tape manipulation and experimental approaches alongside more traditional techniques.

 

Often using the cello and saxophone, he also uses guitars, piano, synths and other instruments he's found along the way; as well as designing and building DIY effects by hand.
